Overview

UAE requires medical fitness for all long-term visa categories. Results are reviewed by MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources). Free zone employment may have separate requirements.

Medical Requirements

• Tests include chest X-ray, HIV, Hepatitis B, and basic physical checkup.
• UAE has strict entry bans for TB and certain communicable diseases.
• Family visa medical is required for dependents above a certain age.
• Results must be submitted before visa stamping at the UAE consulate.
• Emirates ID registration requires a clean medical certificate.
